JOB VACANCY AT GIFRA WIRELESS NETWORK LIMITED

  1. NOC Support Technician

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled NOC (Network Operations Center) Support Technician to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring network performance, responding to service interruptions, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of network infrastructure and customer connectivity services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network systems, links, and customer connectivity to ensure optimal network performance.

  • Detect, troubleshoot, and escalate network faults and service outages promptly.

  • Provide first-level technical support to customers and field engineers.

  • Monitor bandwidth utilization, alarms, and system alerts within the NOC environment.

  • Assist in configuring and maintaining routers, switches, radios, and related network devices.

  • Document incidents, resolutions, and technical activities accurately.

  • Coordinate with field and technical teams to resolve network-related issues efficiently.

  • Ensure timely communication and updates during service interruptions or maintenance activities.

  • Work on weekends and night shifts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in ISP, NOC operations, or network support.

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, wireless technologies, and routing.

  • Familiarity with Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Cambium, or similar network equipment is an added advantage.

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced technical environment.

2. Night Network Support Officer

We are seeking proactive and technically skilled Night Network Support Officers to join our Network Operations team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for monitoring network performance during overnight operations, responding to network alerts, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and ensuring stable network services for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor network systems, customer connectivity, and service performance during night operations.

  • Detect, troubleshoot, and escalate network faults or outages promptly.

  • Monitor network alarms, bandwidth utilization, and system alerts within the NOC environment.

  • Maintain accurate incident logs and prepare shift reports.

  • Coordinate with field and technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

  • Ensure continuous network availability and prompt response to service interruptions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Basic knowledge of networking, wireless technologies, and ISP operations

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively during overnight shifts with minimal supervision

  • Good communication and customer service skills.

  • Experience in ISP/NOC operations will be an added advantage.

3. Cybersecurity Officer

We are seeking a vigilant, analytical, and highly motivated Cybersecurity Officer to safeguard the company’s information systems, network infrastructure, and digital assets against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security events, identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network and system activities for security threats, suspicious behavior, and unauthorized access attempts.

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and recommend appropriate remediation measures.

• Implement, maintain, and improve security policies, procedures, and controls.

• Investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and cyber threats.

• Manage endpoint security solutions, firewalls, antivirus systems, and access controls.

• Perform security audits and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

• Maintain security logs, incident reports, and documentation.

• Collaborate with technical teams to strengthen network and system security.

• Support the protection of the company’s ISP infrastructure, customer data, and critical network resources.

Requirements:

• Minimum of HND/BSc in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information

Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 1 year of experience in cybersecurity, information security, network security, or a related role.

• Good understanding of network security principles, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.

• Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint security, SIEM tools, and security monitoring solutions.

• Knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, VPNs, wireless security, and

access control mechanisms.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience securing ISP, telecommunications, or enterprise network

environments will be an added advantage.

• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, CCNA Security, CISSP, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

4. Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced, astute, and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and drive
our sales operations. The ideal candidate must have a proven ability to develop winning sales
strategies, exceed revenue targets, and build high performing sales teams within the
telecommunications or related industry.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to deliver consistent high performance.
• Identify and penetrate new markets while expanding existing customer base.
• Drive customer acquisition, retention, and long-term relationship management.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategy.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and actionable insights to management.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Implement effective sales processes, performance metrics, and accountability structures.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (preferably in telecoms/ISP).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and business development skills.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

5. Sales & Marketing Executives

We are seeking smart, proactive, and results-driven Sales & Marketing Executives (preferablyfemales) to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for promoting our
internet services, supporting marketing initiatives, generating leads, and driving customer
acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
• Promote and market the company’s internet and ICT solutions to prospective customers.
• Generate leads through field marketing, referrals, and other sales channels.
• Follow up on inquiries and convert prospects into paying customers.
• Support the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Maintain good relationships with new and existing clients.
• Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.
• Provide basic product information and customer support.
• Prepare simple sales and marketing reports as required.
Requirements:
• Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
